Governance Team on the ground

We are pleased to introduce the members of the Governance Team who are on the ground in Liberia.

Rev Momo B. Kinnie

Director
Governance Team

Rev Momo B. Kinnie was born in a small village (Jenne) in Bomi County in the early 1960s. He is the fifth in a family of eight children. Though money was scarce his mother was determined to educate him and he attended school. As time and money permitted Momo completed college focusing on biblical studies, theology and human resources. He has continued to educate himself recently finishing a course in Leadership skills and is an apprentice Trauma Healing Facilitator both for adults and children.

During the civil wars Momo continued to live in Liberia. However he witnessed and experienced the high cost of war on himself, his family and his community. He has been dedicated to improving the life of not just his family but his wider community as they come to terms with not only their past losses but the trauma they have all endured which has been magnified through absolute poverty.

He has served as a pastor for the last 25 years and has been regional co-coordinator for his church for the last six years serving other leaders in a pastoral and counseling role.

His work experience has been in education spanning over 15 years serving as a teacher, vice principal and finally principal. Though he has only four children he has had many children whom he has cared for and sent to school. He firmly believes in encouraging young people to reach their fullest potential regardless of their own background or circumstances.

Governance Team

I graduated from the United Liberia Inland Church Academy in 2016. Graduated from vocational college with certification in electricity in 2019 and is now a qualified Electrician. I am currently learning how to install CCTV cameras and solar panels at 4life zoe digital, satellite training institute. However I hope to continue with my studies in college until a degree level.  My passion is soccer which I play and I love music. What I hope to gain from this opportunity is leadership skills.  I would enjoy working within an environment that has people from different backgrounds.

Governance Team

I graduated from Caldwell Christian Academy in 2008. I am married with children. I attended and graduated from The Koinonia Trust tailoring program in 2021. This was the first time I had been given the opportunity to learn a trade. Now, thanks to the Koinonia Trust,  I have also been given the opportunity to pass on my skills as a tutor and earn some money for my family. My passions are music, kickball and cooking.  I hope to continue to develop my leadership skills so I can continue to contribute to my community.
